The second greatest commandment.

The second greatest commandment for us, as creations in God's image, is to love each other tenderly and deeply. This group offered each January, focuses on helping participants understand the differences between safe and unsafe people, so that they can guard their hearts from unnecessary hurt and pain.

It also helps participants themselves to become safe people who can meet other's needs the way God intended. The study materials by Drs. Cloud and Townsend are focused on establishing relationships of integrity, transparency, emotional availability and honesty.

It also sheds insight on the confusing aspects of relationships that often drain us of emotional energy, which greatly reduces our effectiveness in everyday life. This recovery group work offers practical help and brings the light of Scriptures into the arena of personal relationships, while helping people learn to avoid the pitfalls of toxic entanglements.
